The US Department of Justice announced the seizure of virtualine[.]net, operated by bulletproof hosting provider Virtualine — also known as Secury, Massgod, Spamhouse, Lanedo and Omegatech. Court documents allege the service advertised phishing, carding, spam and port-scanning capabilities to cybercriminals and facilitated the advertisement of child sexual abuse material, nonconsensual intimate imagery, and Bitcoin money laundering. The takedown was coordinated with Germany's Hessen State Police, the Netherlands' National Police Corps, the UK's National Crime Agency, OverRIPE and Lumen Technologies. Bulletproof hosting remains a core enabler of ransomware, scam and credential-theft operations, and this seizure continues a string of 2026 BPH disruptions; organisations whose infrastructure was hosted behind Virtualine should treat this as a signal to hunt for intrusion evidence.
